Dr Michael Robinson B.H.K (Wesbrook Scholar) , M.D., F.R.C.S.C.
Dr Robinson graduated from the University of British Columbia with Wesbrook Scholar distinction and a Bachelor of Human Kinetics in Exercise Physiology. He completed his 4 year medical training as part of UBC's Northern Medical Program, and subsequently completed his 5 year surgical specialty training in Vancouver in the UBC Department of Urologic Sciences. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada and maintains his connection to the university training program as Clinical Instructor of Urology. Originally from nearby Christina Lake, he is proud to serve patients in the Kootenay-Boundary region, providing the highest standard for general urologic care.
Dr Hilary Brotherhood B.Sc. (Hons), M.D., F.R.C.S.C.
Dr. Brotherhood completed undergraduate training at Simon Fraser University, earning a Bachelor of Science with Honours distinction. She completed her medical training at UBC before completing 5 year surgical specialty training in Vancouver in the UBC Department of Urologic Sciences. She is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada. Dr. Brotherhood pursued additional fellowship training in Reconstructive and Functional Urology at Vesia, the Alberta Bladder Center in Calgary. She also maintains her commitment to teaching as Clinical Instructor of Urology with UBC. We are extremely fortunate to have a surgeon of her caliber to provide both general and subspecialty urologic care to the patients of the Kootenay-Boundary region.
